Hope you’re enjoying the election campaign!
A quick update on the state of election data…
📜 Final candidate list: this Thursday
Various alliances have been made; candidates are standing down here and there…it’s all resulting in plenty of edits to our candidate database.
We’ll know for sure who is standing (and where) by Thursday night. This Thursday at 5pm is the deadline for councils to publish the official nomination notices. If you’d like to help to get the data from council websites into our database, hop into our online chat tool (Slack) or follow us on Twitter before Thursday evening!
On Friday evening, Democracy Club volunteers will be at Newspeak House in London to add further details (social media, statements, photos, etc) to that final candidate list. Join them after signing up here!
🎤 Hustings
There were around 617 hustings arranged for the snap general election in 2017. So far, we’re yet to hit 100 for GE2019. Are we missing some? Add them here.
