Thirty million potential voters! Perhaps 28,000 candidates! Around 249 local authorities!
We love to help out voters. So we need your help to crowdsource information on candidates, hustings and more. If everyone on this email list pitches in, we’ll be done in no time.

🔎 Help find information on candidates!
Most of the May elections are now in our system. You can add information on candidates via our crowdsourcing site. Good sources include local newspapers, local political party websites, twitter and facebook.
🎊 Run a crowdsourcing party!
On 4 April, English local authorities will publish the official lists of candidates. We'll need your help to use these lists to check our data and add any missing candidates. To do this, we plan to hold crowdsourcing parties on 4 or 5 April in Bath, Cambridge, Stroud and London. We’re looking for more locations: can you help us out? Reply to this email!
🎙 Help track hustings events...
It’s great for voters to hear from candidates in person. We advertise hustings, or election debates, on WhoCanIVoteFor.co.uk. We can only do this because volunteers add details of hustings to this spreadsheet. Please keep an eye out for events and make sure we have them listed!

If you can’t find a hustings event in your area, why not run one? We're keen to experiment with hustings, so if you think you could help organise an event in your area, let's talk!
🗺 We’re hunting polling locations.
Last year we helped hundreds of thousands of voters to find their polling station via an online search. Work is underway to do the same this year, with the help of the Electoral Commission and every local authority holding an election.
