Hello!

It’s been an amazing week of volunteering!

We now have a record of every candidate for every local election on 2 May: some 26,000 of them! 🎉

You can find out whether you have upcoming elections and who your candidates are at WhoCanIVoteFor.co.uk.

The candidate data also powers voter information on the Electoral Commission’s YourVoteMatters website — and is available for anyone else to use too.

Our next step is to fill out each candidate profile with more information. Voters tell us they want a photo, an election statement and links to websites. Keep an eye out in the local press or via any leaflets you receive. Or pick an area and search online for information on each candidate.
